Information for our guests

It is important to us that our guests have fun at the “after party” (the reception), as this is where we will get to celebrate with most of our friends. The reception will be an adult only party for our guests 16 years old and above. It all takes place at Epic 9, a former dance studio that has been converted into a 5000 square foot event venue. We have planned several activities to entertain our guests while there, including some casino games, a photo booth, and more.
Music will also be a big part of the reception. Amber is a singer in the local Nashville in Harmony choir, so many of her friends are blessed with the gift of vocal expression. We are offering a stage for our talented friends to perform and have provided karaoke hosts for the event. If you have a specific karaoke song, you’d like to sing, please submit it here.

When not partaking in karaoke, the disc jockeys will play your requests. We have a page on this website for our guests to submit song requests. We would love for the music played to represent our friends and family in attendance, so please send in your favorites.

Child Care

For our out of town guests with children under the age of 16 who would like to attend the reception, we will be providing trustworthy and reliable group child care at our chosen hotel.
For our in town guests who are unable to find adequate child care, we can provide you with information on the child care we will have set up, if you would like to utilize those resources at your own expense. Please ask us for the details.
We are providing this service to make it easy for those who will be traveling a long distance to enjoy all the festivities, so please make it easy on us by letting us know as soon as possible if you will need to use this service and how many children will need care. Please email that information to whisthaven@aol.com as soon as possible.

Security

Your RSVP is very important, as there will be security at the ceremony and reception. Unfortunately, this is a necessary part of most events these days. The friendly security guard will check your photo ID against the list of attendees, so please make sure you have RSVPd and have your ID available when you arrive at the events.
